Baked Cauliflower

Last night for the first time I baked cauliflower like this, and  trust me they have turned out really well. Healthy & tasty all in a plate.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower- 1 medium size (cut into medium florets)
  • Vegetable oil- 2/3 tbsp (I used 2 tbsp)
  • Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
  • Herbs of your choice- 1 tbsp (I used oregano)
  • Salt

Method

Boil the cauliflower florets with 1 tsp of salt in the water for 10-12 minutes. Give the florets a medium boil, no need to boil them fully. Remove from heat. Drain & keep aside. Take an ovenproof dish or pan.

Mix salt, black pepper powder, herbs & oil together.

 

Add in the boiled florets.

 

Preheat the oven to 180C.  Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes till you see some dark golden brown spots on the florets, it means they are done.

Remove from the oven. Serve immediately.

This is a healthy any time snack & a quick fix snack too. You can serve this as starter also!
