  • 1 tbsp Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 tsp- Ginger paste
  • 3-4- Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 medium sized- Onion (cut into cubes)
  • 1- Green onion chopped (only the green part)
  • 2 tbsp- Tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp- Green chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp- Soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp- Corn flour
  • 1½ tsp- Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the paneer cubes with 1 tbsp corn flour, keep aside.

  2. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a deep non-stick frying pan. Over medium heat fry the paneer cubes until golden, drain on paper towel. Mix 1 tbsp corn flour with ¾ cup water, keep aside. In the remaining oil fry onion and bell papers over high heat for 2 minutes. Remove from the oil,  and keep aside.

  3. Add 2 tbsp oil in the frying pan. Add chopped garlic, fry quickly over high heat until light brown in color. Lower the heat, add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soya sauce, and ginger paste. Mix well. Add corn flour mixture, salt, chopped green chillies, and sugar. Mix well and give this a quick boil over high heat. Keep stirring. Lower the heat, add paneer cubes. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Keep stirring in between.

  4. Add Fried onion and bell papers along with chopped green onions. Mix and cook over medium heat for a minute. Remove from the heat. The Chilli Paneer is done now. Garnish with some chopped green onions.

  5. Serve hot as a side with Chinese fried rice or Noodles.
