Homemade Applesauce
This basic 3 ingredients Applesauce can be done at home under 30 minutes only. Vegan & Gluten-free, it's perfect for your eggless bakes.
Ingredients
- 2 Apple
- 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup Water

Peel and cut the apples into small cubes.

In a saucepan add all the ingredients, mix well, cover, and cook over low heat until the apples soften (approx. 20 minutes). Remove from the heat, let it be cooled completely. Blitz the cooked apples by using your food processor until smooth sauce forms, similarly you can blend the apples using the hand blender as well.

Store in an airtight jar or container and keep in the refrigerator. Consume within 10-14 days. You can freeze the applesauce also for a longer shelf life, transfer the sauce in a ziplock pouch and store in the freezer.

Omit the sugar in the sauce if you intend to make it sugar-free.
