A healthy, colorful & yummy version of Paneer Sabji. Very easy to make, give this a try!
Paneer Capsicum
Ingredients
- Paneer- 200g (cut into cubes)
- Green Capsicum- 1 medium size (cut into cubes)
- Tomato- 1 medium size (finely chopped)
- Ginger paste- 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds- ½ tsp
- Dry red chili- 1 (broken)
- Few slit green chilies
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
- Kashmiri mirch powder- 1 tsp
- Cumin powder- ¾ tsp
- Pao bhaji masala- 1tsp
- Yogurt- ¾ cup (beaten)
- Water- 1 cup
- Garam masala powder- ¼ tsp
- Peas- ½ cup
- Sugar- 1 tbsp
- Vegetable oil- 2 tbsp
- Fresh coriander leaves- 2tbsp (finely chopped)
Method
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Tamper with dry red chili & cumin seeds. Add the chopped tomatoes & salt. Mix & cook for few seconds. With the help of spatula mash the tomatoes. Add ginger paste, kashmiri mirch powder, pao bhaji masala, green chilies, cumin powder & turmeric powder. Mix & fry it on medium heat till the masala starts leaving oil. Now add the paneer, peas & yogurt. Mix well & cook uncovered for 4/5 minutes. Stir gently in between. Now add the capsicum, sugar & water. Mix, cover & cook till the raw smell of masala gone for about 12-15 minutes. Add garam masala powder & garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with roti, puri, paratha or steamed rice or anything you like.
